Title says it all.
I have a decent 7.2 home theater system at home.
Problem is, it’s my main living room home theater system. The room is horrendous when it comes to room correction, tall ceilings, open living room, tile floors, you name it I have it.
Here is my system break down:
Front stage speakers:
-Kef R11 meta L an R
-Kwf R6 meta center.
Surround sides and Surroud rears are Kef r3 meta’s.
2x SVS pb16 ultra subs
Marantz Cinema 40, and have external amp for front stage speakers Anthem MCA325.
My question is, id like to calibrate my system using Dirac.
I am a complete noob, I have no idea what frequency settings I need to set up each speaker or crossovers ects.
Does the system give you a default setting for everything after it tests each speaker and listening positions?
Does I need to run Dirac room correction and bass control before running Dirac ART?
I also saw somewhere that ART can actually blow your speakers.
I’d appreciate any feedback.
