I've got a Stihl 291 in decent shape that I use all the time but I need something bigger for some work I need to do this summer. This thing runs and then won't start (man it's Loud!) I am capable of fixing it up with whatever it needs, just wondering if I'm going to end up with something worth the effort

This is a Telefunken Bolero that belongs to a relative that I restored as a gift. I replaced all the paper foil and electrolytic caps, disassembled and repainted the turntable, rebuilt the tone arm as it had been damaged, and gave all the knobs and face a good cleaning. I also wired in a bluetooth receiver to the turntable input. I freshened up the finish by padding on some new shellac. The pictures don't do it justice, it is a beautiful example of mid century modern design. Sounds pretty good too!
