CDU Admissions: Can I Pursue My Second Choice Instead?
Hi! I’m an incoming freshman applicant at Cebu Doctors’ University and I just wanted to ask if anyone here knows how the course selection/shifting process works.
I applied for BS Occupational Therapy (BSOT) as my first choice and BS Speech-Language Pathology (BS SLP) as my second choice. If ever I qualify for BSOT, would I still be able to pursue BS SLP instead, or does qualifying for the first choice automatically mean I have to enroll there?
I also noticed there’s a “Shift Request” option in the student portal, so I’m wondering if that can already be used before enrollment or if it’s only for officially enrolled students who want to change programs later on.
Would really appreciate insights from current CDU students or anyone who experienced the same thing. Thank you!
