Is civil engineering for me?

Grettings everyone. So i just finished my A levels i did physics chemistry maths and economics I have A*A*A* A respectively.I am moving to Australia soon for education probably university of Sydney or Adelaide University. So my question to you guys is should I choose Civil Engineering i am interested in the subject itself however I am more into the Construction Management side because of the better pay.So should i do civil engineering work for a few years then get a top MBA from a school like Melbourne Business School then pivot into Infrasrtrucure Finance/Infratructure Consulting/Construction Management. Is this a good plan should i go for Civil Engineering?I personally find it very versatile and interesting but i want insights from experienced individuals working in the field. Please provide your two cents on my thoughts.
