I recently learned that my mum has a large amount saved up and she plans to buy a second house quite far away to rent out, neither of us are financially smart so I worry this isn't the best use of money, is there a better way to invest this or does she have the right idea? (this is the UK for anything region dependent)
I'm 16F and currently in a levels, I want to go to uni and study politics, international relations or law but I'm unsure what specific careers I can go into. I am very passionate about humanitarian law and making the world a better place but I don't know what route to go down, I don't want a typical office job working for somewhere like the UN (though I know its probably a step in the career) I want to make actionable change
