Has anyone attempted to put the AJ-V8 from and XJ/F-Type/F-Pace in to an x260 XF? Given the V6 and V8 are the same block, in theory (in my head) they should fit. I’ve an AWD that needs work doing that includes taking the engine out. Not in a rush so considering changing the power plant, fuel system, exhaust system whilst it’s out. Brakes and instrument cluster would need changing and presuming the ZF8 can just be reprogrammed. Suspension should already be up to the job. Turn the old girl in to a sleeper SVR Sunday fun machine.
