I’d like to start off by saying I do understand tipping servers and I do always tip them, but I’ve gone to a few private nail techs & hair stylists and they make their own prices for their services as it’s their own business but yet expect a tip? If you’d like more money simply raise your prices. And my mother just recently got a new tattoo and it was $350 but then she tipped him $50, which I was confused on because he made the price for the tattoo? And she had told me it was the polite thing to do since it’s a service. Can someone explain to me how this makes sense or give your opinion?
