So basically, this boxen was hosting a floor 25+ run in a semi-dead server and saying people had to give proof with the floor 25 badge
Like 2 yattas and a tisha r saying how r u hosting a 25+ run when ur boxen etc..
After a bit everyone had stopped talking to the boxen, and i'd gone over to this group who was planning to host an org but couldn't due to one of their friends not having a toon
While they were talking about something along the lines of shipping, boxen swoops in and starts talking about how most of the fandom care about shipping more than actual gameplay (im gonna assume he was mad for nobody joining his run)
From there it just goes downhill.. we tell the boxen they shoudlnt be judging people for liking ships in which their counter argument was their allowed to have their own opinion, which they are, but still dont say things to people with the intention of aggravating or just saying something mean. The boxen kept on saying it was just a game anyway and that we shouldn't be so mad.
A bunch of people join the server and formed like a big group around boxen while we r still arguing about when or when not to make a comment on something (I specifically remember a looey and eclispe spectating and then joining later)
Then the conversation devolved into people who ship problematic stuff like adult × child or shipping pebble w anyone, and ofc we said we dont ship that but for some reason that didnt go through his head.. he goes onto say that he doesn't really care and finds our anger entertaining. He insists this entire argument is time well spent for him when we say he's wasting it.. like butting in on a random friend groups convo, disrespecting their opinions and then blaming them for getting mad is anything productive
After that the conversation devolved into how ships can be used to groom people? And how we were dismissing all the negatives of ships idk- but the convo ended shortly after that bc most people had migrated to stand on the benches and role playing someone getting whipped (this sounds like a fever dream what) And also saying how can we say its just a game when its affecting irl despite him saying its just a game earlier himself 💔💔
At some point it also devolved into forsaken ships too
ANYWAYYS THATS IT!!! this may be a bit inaccurate bc its from my perspective and I didnt entirely see what the friend group was saying abt ships in the 1st place (wasnt paying attention)
Also remember a ginger leaving to roleplay about 1/3 into the chaos
