Hey all - I would love to hear if you a) have found success taking GLP-1, b) which GLP-1 you use, c) if you plan to stay on it for life and d) what made you decide to use it.

I’m a 34F female. My ideal weight is 140lb, but I recently was at my heaviest at 175lb, when I received my PCOS diagnosis. I’ve been on metformin for 4 weeks and now I’m down to 166lb. I eat healthy and I’m extremely active, which is how I got the PCOS diagnosis since I run 20-40 miles each week and rock climb, but wasn’t losing any weight. I also have hirsutism and severe acne. Since going back on birth control, the acne has improved, but the weight loss is slower than I would like. I’m considering whether I should 1) continue metformin and see if I lose the weight on it or 2) also go on GLP-1. My OBGYN said she supports her patients going on GLP-1 and since I’m medically “overweight”, I qualify to go one. I’ve been considering it and would love to hear advice from all of you. Thank you!!!!
