We’re visiting Japan in mid-May for the first time, a last minute trip
We’re flying in and out of Tokyo - total 11 day trip
This is what we’re thinking of:
Day 1-2: Tokyo
Day 3-4: Osaka
Day 5-6: Kyoto
Day 7: Mt Fuji and Hakone
Day 8-11: Tokyo (including DisneySea)
We are somewhat fast paced in our travels. We’re trying to achieve a balance of nature, culture and city vibes and of course great food!
Looking for some suggestions on:
- Is the Takachicho Gorge, Kumamoto and Mt. Ajo worth visiting and squeezing in?
- What is the best place to do a ryokan experience?
- Any other small town or offbeat locations that we can explore? Since this is our first time we do want to go the golden route, but want to add in a little something different
- Also what areas are best to stay in each of these areas- we’re considering
Tokyo - Ginza
Osaka - Namba
Mt. Fuji - Hakone
Food and activities suggestions are always welcome :) or any tips for Japan in general
