Dissertation or 5 extra modules?

Hi, looking for some advice on what I should choose for my final year modules. I'm currently studying economics and I can either take a dissertation and one module on advanced econometrics (a topic I absolutely hate and don't really understand), but the assessement is a 2,000 word essay due in S1, or I can choose 5 extra modules - one of which can be an essay and the other 4 exams, split 2 in S1 and 2 in S2. On top of that I've got 3 other modules that are mandatory.

What do you think I should do?

I'm leaning towards the dissertation as I prefer coursework that I can do in my own time and I could choose a topic I'm interested in, but I'd have to slog through econometrics in S1 and try write an essay on it. But on the other hand I could have a very much exam based final year (3 exams in S1 and 5 exams in S2) and also a lot of lectures to go to. Any advice appreciated!
