Brake service mode, 2025 sierra.

Im lost at this point. Trying to do rear brakes, follow all the steps, get to the yellow P and wrench flashing. Release my foot and finger, push the park brake again and the yellow P flashes 5 times and goes out and the parking brake stays on.

UPDATE: Seeing I live in a very rural town with one garage whos booked for the next 2 weeks and my next closest garage is well over an hour away, I decided to take the chance and release the parking brake manually. Removed negative on battery, took the little motor off and changed the brakes. Upon completion, there wasnt on code/engine light on. And it wasnt that had to do.

Got a 2010 WG, it has stock 8" risers and drag bars. If read that stock cables can handle up to 10" apes. Has anyone go this route so they dont have to change cables to a longer length?

Im curious if folks have done this, if so possible to add pics to the replies. Thanks
