I am hoping to SUP in Kauai next week and am wondering if it would be worth it to lug my inflatable paddleboard through our travels or if it would be better to rent one.

Anyone have experience doing either / or and have some pros and cons to offer? I'm pretty novice and don't plan to surf or get to wild on it, but will have my baby and 9 year old with us so we probably will be near the water a lot of the time.
