I'm not even the biggest fan of Gojo Vs Makima but I get it now

Finally been able to get into CSM some more and I really like Denji

Didn't really enjoy JJK but I really liked Yuji as a character and still do

Now all I want is a fun episode from both so here's hoping it's hype

I'm seeing a lot of slander so I'm gonna share some love. I have never been able to really enjoy JJK

I've watched all current content and honestly it's not clicking with me, I enjoyed 0 but that's about it. I acknowledged the show is pretty good and the animation is really impressive but, it's just the best example I have of "It's just not for me"

However while watching I did consistently enjoy one part of the series, and that part was Yuji. I actually liked his struggle and humanity and his simple nature of just wanting to do good, but more importantly I appreciate that that desire to just do good wasn't enough to make him this all powerful character.

I liked the fact that Yuji wasn't anywhere near as strong as other characters and had to be taught multiple things before getting stronger and even then there was always a bigger fish to remind him that he still needs to grow. I think back to his fight against Choso and how in most shows, the protagonist would have won that fight through random protagonist lucky bullshit (I'm looking at you Deku, I love you but God damn, you beat Stain because your blood type was the lucky one and he wouldn't shut up) but Yuji he got his ass beat because he's just not there yet. Add that with the fact he has someone as destructive as Sukuna inside his body and yeah, I really liked his constant uphill battle and how much of a clear struggle it was, and yet despite that and how much painful shit he goes through he's still driven by that simple desire to do good. I haven't really read the manga but from what I expected of Yuji, I think he's pretty fun and that's coming from a non fan of JJK

Now as for Denji well I started watching Chainsaw Man with my girlfriend and we're both hooked on the show and character, but I still wanted to give Yuji some love

I've seen JJK but it just didn't click with me, however I haven't really seen Chainsaw Man, just knew a decent amount of it through the scaling when looking into Bakugo Vs Reze

I got a friend who's a massive fan of it though so hopefully I end up enjoying it. My girlfriend also wants to check it out with me because in her own words "I heard it's got a plotline about boobs and that makes me laugh"
