My 2015 Honda Civic randomly gets stuck on accessory mode, I struggle to turn it off when it gets on there, and it can’t turn on. When it gets like that some people are able to turn it off, but it can’t turn on. It gets towed, then magically works. The mechanic can’t do anything (they’re a Honda specialist) because they can’t see when the car gets stuck. We’ve replaced the starter, that helped for a bit, it was an aftermarket if that helps, then we replaced what I thought was the culprit, the push to start, and it’s still doing it. I’ve changed the key itself with the batteries in the fob. The car works perfectly fine besides this.
If it helps when the car gets stuck the lights on are: battery, oil, and wheel lock (I’m not sure the correct word), none of which is ever lit up besides that, and my car has no problems while on. Thank you if anyone can help!
