We’re running a live sketch challenge this month and I figured this sub might enjoy it.
Theme:
Design a vehicle as a well designed/ styled mobile sound system for small outdoor parties or underground raves.
Think:
– speakers integrated into the form
– weird packaging problems
– brutal / absurd / overbuilt solutions
– stuff that would actually hit hard in a real environment
It’s tied loosely to Detroit + techno culture, but the main goal is just: make something loud and interesting.
Format:
– 30 min live sketch
– analog or digital
– camera on your work (analogue) or share screen (digital)
Time:
Friday, May 8
6:00–6:30 EST (setup)
6:30–7:00 EST (sketch)
We’ve been doing these monthly. Mix of students and pros.
