UCAT... Grad Med, am I pursuing the wrong path?

28M, Engineering degree 1st class Hons from a non-russell.

I've just started attempting UCAT questions and... I'm doing atrociously.

I mean, I'm struggling to do even one, untimed question, particularly the decision-making/logic puzzles.

VR and SJT I'm doing ok on, getting like 75%, but the ones with shapes puzzles and inferring information I just cannot seem to do.

I'm genuinely considering if Grad med is the right path for me seeing as I am struggling so badly with UCAT even with Medify.

It's embarrassing to be frank.

If I'm doing this badly from the get-go, do I lack the aptitude for medicine/UCAT?

I'm the first one in my family to do A Levels let alone complete a degree.

I feel so disheartened because I honestly feel this indescribable pull to study medicine. I currently work in a clinical (veterinary) role so am exposed to care and medicating daily which has only fuelled my desire to study medicine.

Honest advice please? Am I cooked or do I need to just need to work harder?

Hoping to apply for Swansea 2027.
