Never posted on a forum like this before but I wanted to ask has anyone heard or encountered dealing with management stating you must have another day available to work in order to use PTO?

Essentially I am part time but they want me to work the hours on another day prior to taking the day off that I am requesting.

The store leader that was here before this one did it for our store and now this “new leader “ wants us to do more work with less people.

He has even put stuff in hello and stated that it came directly from corporate but clearly we know the difference of the hello team writing something versus a random person. Hopefully that makes sense.
