Invisible Resorts World Casino benefit
For the most part, I get a monthly brochure from Resorts World in Queens, NY. It lists my slot plays, gifts, and other benefits I get for a particular month. Recently (last month), I was told I had a weekly dining coupon and I was mildly surprised. But since I never received my April brochure, I figured I would make sure to read my May brochure carefully.
So, I received my May brochure but there was no listing of a dining coupon. I presumed I did not get the dining benefit for May since it wasn't listed. But I decided to ask someone at the Gentings Rewards desk. I was told I had a weekly dining coupon for May however it will not be listed in my monthly brochure. Nor will it be found by logging into the silver kiosks where we find info about the gifts that we pick up at the Promotions or Gentings Rewards.
Per the rep, the only way to find the information about dining coupons is by asking @ Genting Rewards desk or by reviewing an email that should have been sent about it. I checked my emails but nothing. I went back to Genting Rewards and they verified there was no email on file for me. They've since updated the email but when I asked if they could resend the dining info to me, the rep said they couldn't. A supervisor also said they couldn't. I was told that someone else was in charge of that (can't remember if she said Advertising or Marketing). Nor could they print out the information from the office behind the Gentings Rewards desk. And, although I couldn't see one, I'm fairly sure there was a printer somewhere in that office.
Am I crazy or does this make no sense? A dining coupon that is nowhere to be found in the usual methods of communication (i.e monthly brochures or silver kiosks). And simple fix that no one cares to use. The only explanation I can think of is that they want to offer benefits but they don't actually want people to use them. Fixing the issue would mean someone would use benefit no one is supposed to know exists.
Is there any other explanation?
