I was delighted to change the engine oil today, but I encountered two issues. Firstly, the plastic ramp didn’t fit for the GD3 too high but it did fit my GK5. So, I crafted a low-profile wooden ramp, and it worked perfectly. The second problem was that I had ordered 14mm OEM crush washers from the dealership, but they didn’t fit my GD3. I measured the old washer that was on there since the last oil service at the shop, and it turned out to be a 16mm copper crush washer. I suspect someone might have stripped my 14mm bolt and swapped it with a 16mm. I’m wondering if I can temporarily plug the drain plug without the crush washer or if I should wait and get the correct size washer to complete the job.

I performed some maintenance today including cleaning bugs/debris from the radiator fins and installing new engine air filter + cabin air filter. Also replaced all 3 engine mounts for the first time using Honda OEM part to fix idle vibration: passenger engine side mount P/N# 50822-T5R-A01 from Honda Parts Connection US, transmission mount P/N# 50850-T9A-003 and rear torque rod/dog bone mount P/N# 50890-T5A-003 both purchased in Thailand during vacation. Transmission and rear torque rod mounts installed easily, but the passenger-side mount was tricky as the engine shifted rearward 2-3" once unbolted due to drivetrain tension - had my son help pull the engine forward while I aligned and torqued all bolts in. Job took about 3 hours total and idle vibration is now gone.
