Looking for roommates possibly or lower end rent near UF
Hey everyone, I recently found out I didn’t get a scholarship that I honestly thought I had a really strong shot at, so now I’m kind of scrambling trying to figure out housing for UF. I’m from Miami so I’d be moving in, in a couple months or so. I do have a car, but I’m considering selling it to help financially, so ideally I’m looking for something close to campus or on a bus route.
I’m mainly looking for advice on:
- affordable apartments near UF
- roommate searches / roommate groups
- lower-end rent options that are still decent/safe
- subleases or people looking for roommates
I’m not super picky about luxury amenities or anything I kinda just need something reasonable and student-friendly. If anyone has recommendations, experiences, or knows good places/websites/groups to check while I do my own research, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks :)
