New Beetle Interest
Hello Beetle Community! I’ve been thinking of perhaps getting a Blue Death Feigning Beetle. I have never owned a beetle before, and I actually have quite a bad bug phobia. I was wondering if they are less triggering for bug phobias due to how they can’t fly, don’t climb up things, and move quite slowly. I figured they’d be a good pet since I want something relatively low maintenance but still something I can love and take care of. Anything I should know while considering them? I know they’re a pretty common, not too “cool” beetle, but that’s how I’d prefer to start. Has anyone has a fear of bugs/beetles before getting one? Is it crazy for me, someone scared of bugs, to want beetles? I’d love your advice, as you all seem to be great beetle parents!
