I work in core backend in a startup. I'm building something that involves large data, non-trivial logic, and a lot of edge cases the kind of functionality competitors usually take years to get right.
But now the expectation is "1 week max." No discussion, no asking dev ETA anymore. It's just assumed that if you use have claude, it'll get done.
Is anyone else facing this? Or is it just my company and I seriously need to switch ? Genuinely want to know if it's same everywhere or just me.
Scrum was fired as the manager / ceo everyone are vibecoding and are like i have built this built that.
I have never felt so stressed in 4 years of my tech career. I used to enjoy building things now feels like a burden to me.
How should i navigate from here on ?
