First-time Onebagger: 22 Days in the Balkans

Hi everyone! I’m about to head out on my very first "onebag" journey—a 22-day trip through the Balkans. I'll mostly be staying in hostels, with maybe 1 or 2 nights in an Airbnb for a proper recharge.

I’m using a 55L backpack with packing cubes/organizers.

Here is my current packing list:

  • Clothing:
    • 1 Hat (wearing) + 1 to be bought there.
    • 7 Boxers
    • 8 Pairs of socks
    • 2 Technical pants
    • 1 Rain jacket
    • 1 Vest (Gilet)
    • 3 Shorts (2 for outside, 1 specifically for the hostel)
    • 1 Long-sleeve t-shirt
    • 7 Standard t-shirts
  • Footwear:
    • Crocs
    • A normal Shoe
  • Gear & Tech:
    • Water bottle
    • Daypack (for daily use)
    • Fanny pack
    • Power bank & chargers
    • Portable speaker (not sure)
    • Swiss Army Knife
  • Toiletries & Personal Care:
    • Microfiber towel
    • Deodorant & Perfume
    • Pillbox/Medication
    • Sunglasses
    • Sleep mask
  • Misc:
    • 1 Notebook & 1 Reading book

My Questions:

  1. Am I overpacking or underpacking anything?
  2. Is there anything on this list that screams "unnecessary" for the Balkans?
  3. Since it's a 55L bag, I’m worried about the weight for a 22-day trip. Any specific cuts you’d recommend?

Thanks in advance for the help!
