as the title suggests, can i file a grievance? i’m an rca almost 6 months in. the regular took the day off and another rca covered for them while i covered an aux route. i’m the primary sub for that regular’s route. are there any extenuating circumstances where they can do that or just flat out no? i knew that the regular was taking the day off because they texted me asking me to cover for them the week and i said yes, and especially yes if i don’t have to work that aux route. i covered them yesterday and will cover them tomorrow just not today.
ETA: i just wanted to add, i was already scheduled for the aux route beforehand. does this change the outcome? i dont wanna look like an idiot by asking a dumb question if it was a dumb question
