I was diagnosed with endometriosis a month ago but I’m pretty sure I’ve had it for quite a while now. This past December, my knee started hurting after I walked for some time (like over 15-20 mins) and got to the point where bending my knee hurts. I’ve been to an orthopaedic who suggested inflammation around the knee cap and prescribed anti-inflammatory medication and suggested not to do any lower body workouts, and only do light walking or cycling movements. However, in that month the pain got worse and it only got better when I started working out again. We did an X-ray and everything looked fine and I didn’t feel any pain when the doctor rotated my leg in different positions. However, the pain and pressure is still there after walking quite a bit, or bending the leg in sleep, and even stiffness around both knees after sitting for an hour or two. The doctor says everything looks fine and the next step would be an MRI. I read somewhere that endo can cause joints to hurt. Is there anyone who has had a similar experience? If yes, how did you deal with it, and what was your doctor’s opinion?
