For context, I’m 21M and currently at university. This junior has liked me since apparently high school days. We were in the same kelab persatuan. He confessed back then, and I politely refused because aku tak suka lawan pedang

Since then, I’ve blocked him everywhere because I am extremely uncomfortable. There was one time in 2022 when he knocked on my door (he knows where I live because we’re in the same area). Creepy as hell

Recently, he tried to contact me using his friend’s phone number to find out why I blocked him, among other things. It's even more unsettling when he stalked my Linkedin and tell me stuff like “I didnt know you interned here etc”

Honestly I am very uncomfortable. I have a girlfriend and aku tak geh so why would someone be so obsessed like this. What would make him stop stalking me I am desperate guys pls help

Growing up I had noticed a pattern whereby I never truly felt connected with any malay muslim friends who actively practice Islam because they always inevitably preach. Even when they don’t realise it

Oftentimes when they talked about wanting an Islamic marriage, Quranic stuff and their Malay boyfriend being the holiest boyfriend ever, I was never able to relate. Most of the time it annoys me

Though I have many good non-Malay friends, I wish I had that one Malay non-Muslim friend who understands me. Who can apprehend how tiring it is to be living this double mask as an ex-Muslim in Malaysia
