So obviously with Blundell going on this big ol' press run there has been a lot of drumming up about the Impossible Easter Egg and I never really was a large scale easter egg guy, always followed once they were solved but never really followed when they were being researched but with this kind've being the most important thing left in BO3 I thought I'd look into it a little bit and I found some cool things that connect.
- The big main thing that has been looked into is obviously the John Dee cyphers and the book that has a duplicate on Der Eisendrache "John Dee, Illuminated De-Ressurectionist." which basically shares a name with the Pack-a-Punched ICR-1, the Illuminated Deanimator (De-Ressurectionist = Deanimator). This probably wouldn't mean that much if the KN-44 didn't have so much significance.
2a. Leading to the KN-44 being Pack-a-Punched and it's named being the Anointed Avenger (Bear with me this next part is a stretch). There isn't much right here, the only thing that I can really see is 44=AA so KN-AA/KN-Anointed Avenger but that doesn't really show anything at all but the AA got me thinking about what other things in the game have the initials of AA.
2b. Alchemical Antithesis is not only the best Gobblegum in the game, but another AA item in the game. It wouldn't have any significance if it weren't for the fact that you get the Gum at level 35, level 35 being named Deressurectionist. Not only does this connect to John Dee via the book title, but also who John Dee was. He was a genius of his era, a mathematician, a scientist, an... Alchemist.
- Very loose connection and probably just another random thing but the last thing I want to point out by uppercasing only two letters but another book from Der Eisendrache named "Alchemical framework of the luminiferous Aether". Another AA that really doesn't have any sort of connection other than strengthening the connection of John Dee and Alchemy, and John Dee and the 30 Aethyrs.
Hopefully some people that are smarter than me can hopefully see if there's more AA connections, Pack-a-Punched Assault Rifle name connection or Un-Pack-a-Punched Assault Rifle Name Connections, John Dee or Enochian Magick connections, or possibly even connections regarding Richtofen seeing Dempsey shirtless and having a sexual awakening and that was the Impossible Easter Egg all along.
