I broke down crying last night

To the chronic throat-clearers, what is the one thing LPR has taken away from you? For me (38F), it's movie nights with my husband because I'm too embarrassed to clear my throat in the silence. We used to go to the movie theater often, and it was my favorite thing to do with him. I would bring my blanket and just snuggle up next to him, eating popcorn or any snacks I brought with.

Now I'm just too embarrassed. I know he doesn't mind, but I can't stand to be that person, and the side eyes we would get would drive me crazy.

I started cutting out dairy and am doing my best to get rid of this it been a little hard, but im wondering if being alone on this has this effected any of you in your daily life?

if so, how and what do you miss the most about just having a clear throat?
