Microtech halo 4. It’s been my grail knife for a long time. I carry all the knives I buy and this will be my EDC offhand carry. I’ve EDCd the halo 6 and Draco for years now, but the blade on the halo 4 is better for every day use because it’s not too thick. I hear from so many knife reviews that they wouldn’t carry it because it doesn’t have a safety, but after years of carrying single action OTFs I can attest to the fact that unintentional deployment is a myth. I carry it in the same pocket with my wallet and key fob. It always stays put. So many times I’ve heard people say that the blade is aimed at you junk but it’s not. If it did accidentally deploy, which it won’t, it would open facing down and probably wouldn’t even scratch my thigh. Yes it does take 2 hands to retract, but I’m usually carrying a double action makora OTF on my strong side for anything I need single handed convenience for. One of the advantages of an OTF is the small amount of pocket real estate that it takes.
