Not sure I'm seeing the value on a Bilt Palladium above no-fee cards.
- My monthly rent is $3600, so I need $108 in Bilt Cash each month to generate 3600 Bilt Points
- With the 4% Flexible Bilt Cash option, I need $2,700 in monthly spend to generate $108 in Bilt Cash
- So I need $2,700 in spend for 3,600 Bilt Points, which is effectively 1.33%
- I generally transfer my points to United which I guess I'd value at 25-50% more than the value of the points themselves (since buying with points is cheaper than the equivalent purchase in dollars)
- So after this multiplier, the effective return is 1.66%-2%
Why not just put all $2,700 of my spend on a standard 2% card like my Fidelity? It's simpler and doesn't have an annual fee. Am I missing something or not using this card correctly?
