I (M25) will be traveling to Hamburg from Berlin on Thursday, May 7th. I have a university event and I will mostly be free around early-evening and have time for leisure. Since the travel time back to Berlin is of around 6 hours, I was thinking of spending a night in Hamburg. For what it's worth, I will love some suggestions to spend my time there as a solo.
Few things/background I had to mention:
- I came to Germany 6 months back, I have mostly spent my time in Berlin and Hannover only. This feels like a moment to explore more.
- I can speak English and ein bisschen Deutsch. (Ive just started learning). Will communicating or socializing be a problem?
- I feel I'm the biggest Introvert when it comes to socializing. However, my enthusiasm is always at its peak and I easily get comfortable when the energy with the person/activity matches.
- I will love to meet new, friendly people. If it calls for, Im even open to meet any of the Redditors here. ; )
- I will also like suggestions about accommodations. I feel hostels would be nice to meet new people and it doesn't even upset my travel budget.
