I don’t want to write a longer question. I am a web developer with 2.5 years experience. In my current job there are no more projects I have been given a break not fired.

What is the future is this field as it keeps getting worse every year. Also I have heard some software guys having 10-15 years are jobless as the companies can afford them in the current circumstances of the market.

Should I move in IT and system and design administrator or IT assistant and move my whole career into IT side.

I know the pay scale is very less as compared to development. If there is an IT guy with 10-15 years exp or know someone can they share their experience and what about the salary ranges. And what should I do?
