How do people look at each other?
Hi everyone! A necessary post to answer a question I've been pondering since before Christmas: how do people look at each other? Let me explain. For some time now, I've been struggling to look people in the eye normally, something that used to come naturally to me a few months before Christmas. My youthful insecurities are certainly involved, but lately I've gotten into the habit of looking people in the left eye, which makes me anxious that they'll think I'm cross-eyed (which I'm not, since in the mirror/in photos everything looks fine. The problem is looking at someone else!). Now, for months I've been wondering if this is the final boss of 18 years of overthinking or if there's some truth to it but people just don't notice, and the question I ask you is:
What do you do when if think about it, even subconsciously?
