Decrease in Y Chromosome

Hi all,

I wasn't going to do the NIPT test but ended up opting for it after a dilated kidney marker at my 20 week anatomy scan.

My results were as shown:

8% Fetal Fraction

Atypical finding on sex chromosomes (involves Y chromosome, appears to be mosaicism)

Fetal sex N/A

No result for monosomy X

After speaking with the genetic counselor & Natera, they stated that there was a decrease in the expected Y chromosomes

The genetic counselor said it could be false positive, confined to the placenta, or 45,X 46,XY.

Baby had normal male genitalia on the anatomy scan and no other markers.

I am afraid of the amnio as my second was a preterm birth, but this result is stressing me out.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?
