I’m considering applying to the PhD program at Stevens Institute of Technology (Data Science/Statistics related) and wanted to hear honest opinions from current students or alumni, especially regarding post-graduation job placement, outcomes for international students, research quality, and industry connections in NYC/NJ. I’ve seen very mixed opinions online, with some people praising the location and career opportunities while others criticize the academic reputation, so I’d really appreciate realistic perspectives on whether the program is actually worth it for someone aiming for a long-term career in data science/quantitative industry work in the U.S.
