Ball won't leave the barrel. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (percussion 45 cal)

I found some recommendations online saying to start from 40-80 for a 45 call rifle. I stated from 40 and ended at 175. The powder did ignite but the ball stayed put.

I was using Hodgdon Triple Seven, I can't find cheaper true black powder near me. I was shooting without patches too, could that have been an issue? The balls in was using where .433 in diameter, they didn't seem to be too tight for the barrel.

I'm not very experienced with black powder. This was my first time shooting it, I'm not sure what went wrong

My only choice is either a ball with a diameter of .445 or a ball with a diameter of .354. The thinnest patch is have access to is 0 12mm. With a patch it would probably be dar too tight and with one far too loose. Would i be better of getting the .445 ball and not using patches?

I've only managed to find one decent place for ammo in the country. Americans are spoiled for ammo.
