Hello r/nursepractitioner,
A few weeks ago I posted about Clinical Coach and got incredible feedback from this community. Several of you mentioned that existing board prep options weren't built with NPs in mind, too PA/MD focused ie. Rosh, Uworld, too expensive, or just not reflective of how the AANP actually tests.
So I built something specifically for you.
**FNP Boards mode** is now live, AANP-style primary care vignettes mapped to the official 4-domain blueprint:
- Assess (32%) — history, physical exam, screening, diagnostic interpretation
- Diagnose (27%) — differentials, diagnostic criteria, primary diagnosis
- Plan (27%) — evidence-based treatment, prescribing, USPSTF guidelines, patient education
- Evaluate (15%) — treatment effectiveness, follow-up, modifying plans
Every question in NP board mode is tagged by domain AND patient age group (older adult 30%, adult 25%, pediatric 22%, young adult 15%), just like the real exam's lifespan weighting.
I also added a Geriatrics rotation based on feedback from this community, polypharmacy, falls, dementia, delirium, frailty, goals of care, and FNP board high-yield content including Medicare wellness visits and elder abuse screening.
Emergency Medicine is still free forever. You can test out the FNP board modes with it! All 18 rotations + FNP Boards mode available with Pro.
Built by a practicing EM PA-C who precepts NP students. I take your training seriously, you deserve resources that do too.
What's still missing from your board prep? I am always interested in improving this for you and your amazing feedback. Thank you!
