Ba is liw kayo!

Is FEU still a safe space for all?

Lately, what should be a season of leadership and student empowerment has turned into something heavier—filled with bashing, personal attacks, and words that cut deeper than they should. Disagreements are part of democracy, yes. But when discourse turns into degradation, we need to pause and ask ourselves what kind of community we are building.

Are we still choosing respect over ridicule? Accountability over assumptions? Truth over noise?

We can hold people accountable without tearing them down. We can question platforms and decisions without attacking dignity. Elections should be a space for critical thinking, not cruelty.

Let’s bring the focus back to what truly matters: integrity, transparency, and fair evaluation.

Let’s uphold proper due process. Verify before reacting. Listen before judging. Speak with intention, not impulse. And most importantly, protect the kind of environment we all deserve—one that is safe, respectful, and grounded in truth.

Because at the end of the day, the question isn’t just about who wins—but who we become in the process.
