Is nail clubbing a toxic mold symptom?
I've noticed this past year, my fingernails began pointing downwards and widening. I've visited my pulmonologist and cardiologist extensively, and they can't find any abnormalities on CT scans, or any test, other than my vo2 max is heavily diminished for my age. I used to be extremely active and fit my entire life, but it all fell apart after a home renovation project I did about a year ago where I ripped up old carpet, grinded subfloor, poured self leveler concrete, and grinded the high spots of it as well the following day. Since then I've developed a myriad of symptoms to include:
Shortness of breath Tinnitus Insomnia Double vision in one eye only Hair loss Tremors Neuropathy Pins and needles in extremities Muscle twitches Exercise intolerance And more im sure I'm forgetting.
What's also noticeable are my fingers and toes which have become more red, sensitive, and the nails are getting wider and curving. My pulmonologist said he has no answers for me and is not sure what's going on with my body. I've explored long covid, Lyme, and toxic mold as possible causes to my symptoms. I've done moldco tests which showed elevated tgfbeta 1, mmp9, and low msh. I also tested positive (although just barely out of the range) for ochratoxin and a few others via a realtimelabs urine mycotoxin test. Anyone have any insight? Where should I go from here? My primary doctors have given up on my case due to clean CT scans
