We've been talking about Norway for three years.
Also Lisbon. Also a pottery class. Also "we should do a long weekend somewhere we've never been." None of it has happened.
I'm not great at remembering, and the apps I tried didn't help. Notes get buried. Calendars only work after you've already decided what you're doing. Couples apps are mostly daily questions and streaks. That's not what we needed.
So I built Not Pink — a shared planning app for couples. You add the things you actually want to do together (trips, projects, things you keep meaning to try), and they move through four phases: Align (do we both want this?), Planning, Prepare, Relive. Both partners confirm before each phase advances. You can skip phases when you just want something on the calendar.
Took me about a year, working alone. iOS only for now, ships in 9 languages, free tier gets you some entries before you have to pay.
Mostly want to know if the four-phase thing makes sense or feels like too much for stuff you just want to throw on the list. And if anyone's grown a couples app from zero before, would love to hear what worked 🙋♂️
