I have an old svt7pro that’s been recently serviced that has developed a volume pot issue. In itself the amp plays fine, but when turning the master volume knob there are sometimes nasty volume jumps and the sound cutting out. I have noticed this seems to happen right after turning the amp on, and once the amp is warmed up after playing for a couple of hours it seems to work fine.

Could the issue be simply a dirty pot or something else? Do I have a chance in fixing it as a complete gear novice?
