Hello girlies! I’m a 22 year old female who has dealt with the difficulties of having boobs too big for my body since I was a young girl. I’m thinking about taking the steps to get a breast reduction but I know nothing about it and have so many questions! So I’m here to ask this wonderful community of people so I can get a better grasp on how it all works. Any and all advice is welcome too! I apologize in advance for the extremely long post, I have so many questions!

- what to expect during the consult visit? And how long does it typically take to get in for surgery after your consult? (Will I be waiting years or months?)

- how much choice do you get in your results? I’m currently a 34DD. If I wanted to be an A is that possible or is there a limit to what the doctor can make happen? And is it possible to get a lift and reduction at the same time?

- how does the reduction affect your back fat? My boobs seem like they go around my ribs and contribute to the back fat, did that seem to get better after your procedure?

- nipple sensation?? How likely is it for that to 100% return? And will this affect my ability to breast feed in the future?

- if anyone has had the surgery pre-babies, do your boobs still seem to grow after having kids? I’d hate to have to have another surgery, I’m not sure how that works!

- does every reduction recovery have a drain tube? And where does that tube come from? Are you changing it yourself daily?

- how long is the recovery period and how restricted is activity?

- what are some other things I should ask my doctor about? Or other pieces of advice from you ladies?

Hi! I’m in search of some books to get me into the mindset for school. Wanting to get a jump start on some of the introductory learning and basic concepts for vet school (basic anatomy, physiology, etc.). Please let me know what recommendations you have! I’m open to any and all topics, I just want to start learning!
