I got flights from Madrid to Dakhla for €26. I'm currently in Dakhla, Western Sahara but I fly back to Madrid for two days and one night next week.

I'm thinking of getting the train to Toledo as it's meant to be worth visiting?

What do people think of visiting Toledo or do people have any hidden gems of towns to visit near Madrid within an hour on the train from Atotcha? I like landscape photography, gardening and walking up hills. I like to speak a bit of spanglish and occasionally salsa dancing.

I also like rum and Spanish beer and tapas.

I land in Madrid Thursday Morning and fly back to the UK on Friday night very late. I'm a budget traveller so anywhere that has cheep food and drink, is very scenic for photography and has either nice architecture, monuments or something artistic to photograph is good for me for a day trip from Madrid. I am travelling solo and wish to get a train if possible and not have to book an organised tour. I like history as well.

I am looking forward to your replies.
