Question - to get the 50% discount on gains to 1 July 2027, do I need to have held asset for 1 year prior to 1 July 2027 or 1 year prior to post-1-July 2027 sale?

Ie do I have until 30 June 2026 to arrange things or can I acquire during FY 26-27 and have <12 months holding prior to 1 July 2027 and still get *some* CGT discount portion?
