I was digging around my scalp as i always do and then i felt a small bump so i scratched it and saw this at the end on my hair strand. Is it just part of my hair strant like a hair bulb or is it an egg? I've had lice before and im really paranoid about getting it again (hence why i dig around my scalp).

I've found a few of these around my head at different times of my life and all times I've been scared it's lice. If it helps, my hair has been shedding a lot lately and I've recently gotten my hair dyed and treated. I've also found 1 louse on my head and relentlessly checked my head for a week and found nothing but dandruff. ​(i think it was a male?)
