Is Fremont Blvd. a safe area to live in? Also, how accessible is it in terms of grocery stores, restaurants, etc.

Need information on what areas and apartment to look for, looking for 1b1b and studio under 2.3k. I know can be ambitious, if so please suggest nearby areas to look for (like probably sunnyvale or mountain view).
