What does he want them to forget: That in the 2020 election, he refused to"find" 11,000-odd votes for Trump, despite being threatened; that he testified under oath to the 1/6 Committee as to the results a complete audit of all Georgia ballots: Trump's claims, made in writing under penalty of perjury, were 100% bullshit (so much so that Fanny Willis indicted him for perjury.)

Beyond the shifting nature of warfare that Friedman describes, I worry that Trump is exercising operational control over our forces. Yes, he's the commander in chief, but he knows no more about it than he does architecting or lawyering--both areas in which he has made himself a laughing-stock. The difference with Iran is that there is a lot more at stake.
