As with Iran, the big question is whether he will be able to negotiate his way back to the state of affairs that existed prior to his disastrous tariffs jihad.
What does he want them to forget: That in the 2020 election, he refused to"find" 11,000-odd votes for Trump, despite being threatened; that he testified under oath to the 1/6 Committee as to the results a complete audit of all Georgia ballots: Trump's claims, made in writing under penalty of perjury, were 100% bullshit (so much so that Fanny Willis indicted him for perjury.)
Nor that the Capitol was attacked on 1/6/21. They are therefore unfit to sit as judges. Vote them down.

As ceasefires do. The deal was no attack on Victory Day parade in Moscow for a 1000 prisoner of war exchange. The world is watching to see if Trump will insist on that exchange taking place.
We don't need no stinky cavalry to save us.
Orban will have ample time to correspond with his pen pals at the RNC.
Expect the Spanish Inquisition!
The symbolism of Zelensky allowing the parade to take place without any attack is priceless.
"Return to the law of the jungle"? Oh come now. It's not like Trump's Secretary of Defense and Stephen Miller were promoting *exactly* that view....

Apparently. But let's take a look at what he does.
But still the least qualified. After getting his license to practice law, he worked only three years as a junior attorney in Missouri before embarking on a career as a bureaucrat. He was unqualified to be appointed a federal judge, which he was for a matter of months before GW Bush appointed him to replace the lion-like Thurgood Marshall.
It's been 8 years, and they're still months away from prison.

Beyond the shifting nature of warfare that Friedman describes, I worry that Trump is exercising operational control over our forces. Yes, he's the commander in chief, but he knows no more about it than he does architecting or lawyering--both areas in which he has made himself a laughing-stock. The difference with Iran is that there is a lot more at stake.
