Dxp 2800 external hdds questions
Currently have two drives installed inside the NAS,
Drive one : movies, and drive two TV shows.
Intend to move docker etc to m.2 drive.
Space running out, I have two spare 3.5 hdds, I want to use to extend media storage .
If use USB, how does this work? Does the NAS handle them the same way? Would they be constantly spinning? Or have sleep issues?
Intend to add them to an enclosure or something.
Ideally I would buy bigger internal drives as the 16tb near full but prices are sky high, so can't afford. Can't afford bigger NAS.
Any advice appreciated.
What enclosure to purchase for external drives?
Needs to be available uk.
Intend to add second m2 for scratch disk or read cache.
Currently only have plex server running but will be building a stack
