Juvie Beaver or Nutria?

So I found this a year ago and just now got around to properly IDing it. I originally thought it was a beaver but now I’m not to sure. Granted the bones included are heavily damaged but they seem a little off for a beaver. They could of course be a juvenile.

My other thought was that it could be a nutria/coypu. This was found along Green Mountain Creek in the Ruby Mountains of Nevada. Nutria aren’t typically reported here, but they are invasive to certain parts of California. So a nutria might not be completely out of the question.

It doesn’t help that beaver and nutria also have the same dental formula.

Included in the pics are comparison of the skull in question with a beaver skull I found in Texas.
